I don't think anyone can say when a performer will be performing. It is part of the business..sometimes they get sick..they are human. You just have to take a risk and buy...

Hoping for some info that would pertain to Sept/Oct/Nov timeframe, but I do appreciate that. maybe by mid January, when I need to know for sure, there will be something more concrete about the fall.

We had tickets for her final show on Oct. 5th. I was really disappointed when we got there and it was cancelled. Seeing Cher was the main thing we were looking forward to during our Vegas trip. I hope she gets better and can adjust to the dry air.

i really think cher knows what she's doing...and if she's doing something that it turns out has had a detremental effect on her voice, i'm sure she will do something to change that next year.

Cher has a house she rents in Hendersonville, Nevada. This tells me she is not always going home to Malibu after her shows. Robin Leach even stated this in his write up about Cher canceling her last shows Vegas.

I don't know why she would do that to herself. I understand that she'd rather be at "home", but for the time being Vegas has to be her home while performing. It's too much on her body to go back and forth, let alone the climate change screwing up her throat. Hopefully things will get figured out during her well deserved break, and a much healthier Cher will be back in 2009

chercrase- great post on your Las Vegas climate. I live on the east coast on the beach and you would believe the difference from what it is here compared to the climate in town 35 miles away. I notice that Wayne Newton never seems to have this problem and I know he lives there all the time. So you are right but Cher will be Cher and I was listening to one of her songs tonight Heart of Stone and that beautiful voice will always be with us . Get well Cher we all love you.LOL TIM

I`m sorry you have not seen her out in Malibu but trust me in saying she goes back and fourth from Vegas and Malibu all the time. She has been spotted in L.A. alot. I have a friend who works in security at Caesars and he told me she usually leaves for the airport after each Wednesday night show along with each Sunday show. I`m sure there is times when she dose not but she needs to stay long enough to get used to the dry air here. Even the news here in Vegas reported that she commutes back and...

Maybe she's been going back to LA because that's where her doctor is...I thought she bought her house in Vegas so she would have somewhere to stay while she was performing there and not have to come back all the time...I work in Malibu and haven't seen her around since she went back to Caesar's in August...

When cher returns to Caesars next year she should move over to Vegas a month before her opening so she can get used to the dry air here. It would also help her
