Cher is still with Warner Bros. Records and she will eventually do an album. I can tell you that they are no plans for a new album in 2008. The rumor that her
new album is coming in September/November is wrong. For that to happen, she would need to start laying down the tracks very soon. I've always said that
album recording is not a secret, we knew about Madonna's album "Confessions 2" later called "Licorice" since March 2007 - 13 months
before release. Of course it's now called "Hard Candy."

But what about what Cher said in Chrome Hearts magazine? She said she was selecting tracks, and that they are very hard, and that she is "so into this
album", which is gonna be both rock and country... doesn't thatmean she is working on a new one?

I think what that means is Cher just picked the songs. That's it. She hasn't started recording. She may be into the album til Vegas came up and
that's why I was hearing that her plans for the new album was on hold but not cancelled. I thought she would've done something to the album in
June/July but according to admin, she's not releasing it in 2008. I think Cher's had some trouble with her vocals so I think she needs to work on it a
little bit before she records but by that time, she'll be going back to Vegas. There's not a lot of time with her vocals and hiring a band and
producers, rehearsing etc...

If that all is true, then I became excited for nothing... i was so hoping she was FINALLY working on a new record, as said in CH magazine. I really hope it
will come out in 2009 then...

Myself and others still hopeful Cher will still come out w/some new stuff esp now w/her Vegas tour underway..Fingers are crossed:) It did mention it in CH
magazine as well:))
