You definitely want to stay in the tower. We stayed at the Imperial Palace this summer. They tried to put us in the outside room (even after we paid for the tower room). We got to the room and it was horrible. Our door didn't lock, the tub was dirty and we were looking at a back alley. It was very scary. We had to fight with the manager and they finally gave us tower rooms.

Also, if you are requesting non-smoking rooms make sure they give them to you. They tried to stick us in smoking rooms. We had to fight about that as well.

And to top everything off, during my last day in Vegas I slipped in the hotel, fell and busted my knee. Their ice machine was leaking which caused me to fall.

I must say it was not pleasant staying there at all.

Just please be careful when you make your arrangements. I don't want everyone to go through what we went through.

I would love to be during opening night, but its hard for me to travel when my kids are in school.

I hope everyone has a blast and I cant wait to hear about everyone's adventures.
