Bette Midler is currently in the UK and seems to be doing the rounds on the talk shows here. This afternoon she was
on the ITV (Channel 3) show with 'Alan Titchmarsh' who became famous here in the UK as a TV Gardener.
Anyhow in his second interview with Bette Midler they showed a scene from Beaches and Bette explained that the top she was wearing in the scene she went out and bought from a shop called 'StarWorn' (Not sure is she meant Starwares?)
Anyhow she went on to tell the story that the top was actually Cher's. Alan asked if Cher knew this and Bette said she thinks she does.....lol
Bette who said she is on tour in vegas also mentioned Cher too is in vegas
Sure with so many Midler fans the clip will make it on You Tube of which hopefully someone will post the link here or I will and you can see yourself Bette telling the story in her own words.
