Sad,sad news.Actress Farrah Fawcett been trying to beat cancer. I even remember reading how Cher sent Farrah to see her doctor. The two appeared together on
the 1976 Sonny & Cher show with them as mannequins.Now she is gone. She died at the age of 62.Shw on hearts of millions by her hair,her poster on
Charlie's Angels,The Burning Bed .and other plays,movies she had done. She only married once to Lee Majors.Ryan O'Neal was going to marry her.She has
one son, Redmond.

Cher considered Farrah as a friend who had "iron ones" (referring to her incredible strength during her illness.) I think this news will be a real
blow for Cher. As Cherasny mentioned, Cher had recommended her doctor in Germany to Farrah, and I'm sure that's why Farrah lasted so long. I'm sure
we'll see pics of Cher at Farrah's funeral (as well as just about every other A-lister.)

Got chills when I heard..RIP:( She'll be missed.. Now is the Michael Jackson one false though? My neighbor heard something on TMZ he died of cardiac
arrest? not true or true?

OMG! I just saw that on TV! My father arrived home saying that MJ was dead, I couldn't believe so I turned on the TV and found out that Farrah was too!

I loved when Cher (on "Larry King") urged everyone to pray for Farrah and Michael Jackson - the
energy power of prayer can lift these two up (or something like that). Beautiful thoughts...

Just curious how so many YOUNG people loved Farrah....I think of her as being a star of the 70's and 80's. The younger generation wouldn't be
familiar with that "Farrah Fawcett hairdo" or Charlie's angels, would they? I know she did movies in recent years, but they were heavy dramas,
weren't they?
Wow, Farrah and Michael on the same day!!! Two icons from my generation! (I would think that Cher would attend Farrah's funeral since she was a personal friend.) |
